PURPOSE:To make the construction over the entire part simple, equipment cost low and serviceability good by moving a material feed mechanism and a material rotation mechanism by means of the motors to be used respectively exclusively for said mechanisms and interlocking the respective mechanism with an electrical signal. CONSTITUTION:Rolling rolls 4, 4 are driven by a main motor 1 to move back and forth between the advance limit and the retreat limit while rotating, thus rolling a material in a specified period. A controller 21 feeds operation signals to a driving motor 19 of a material feed mechanism and driving motors 201-203 of a material rotation mechanism to advance a carriage 10 as well as to rotate a mandrel chuck 15, an inlet chick 16 and an outlet chuck 17 simultaneously at a prescribed angle, during the idle period since the end of one rolling stage until the start of the next rolling. The material is released from the restraint by the rolls 4, 4, and is advanced for a prescribed distance by the movement of the carriage 10 at the time when the rolls 4, 4 turn back from the advance limit. At the same time, the material is rotated at a prescribed angle together with the mandrel by the rotation of the chucks 15, 16, 17. The material is thus rolled by eacy prescribed length in the varied rolling down directions. |
