Gas bubble bricks for metallurgical vessels, which are constructed as so-called annular bubblers, have a substantially annular gas passage gap (7), passing through or subdivided over the circumference, between an inner part (1) and an outer part (2) and are optionally provided with a sheet-metal cladding (3). In order to obtain, in the case of such a gas bubble brick, a perfect, uniform annular gap, the dimensional accuracy of which is maintained over the entire life of the gas bubble brick, the inner part (1) is constructed substantially in the form of a column and has approximately the same height as the outer part (2), the inner part (1) having, at least close to the gas inlet side, at least one bulge (5, 6) which is radial or lies transversely to the longitudinal axis of said inner part and the thickness of which is greater than the width of the gas passage gap (7) and which engages in a corresponding recess of the outer part (2). The outer part (2) is in this case supported against the inner part (1) via inner, radial spacers (8), the height of which corresponds to the width of the gas passage gap (7) and which are arranged uniformly distributed over the circumference. <IMAGE>
