A welding torch, in particular for plasma MIG-welding, is described, which has a melting-off electrode and nozzles surrounding this, in particular a plasma nozzle, an inert-gas nozzle and a protective-gas nozzle. The current supply to the electrode takes place via a number of radially movable contact cheeks which bear against the circumference of the electrode and can be pressed elastically against the electrode via pressure rollers which have a circumferential part which is adapted to the diameter of the electrode. The contact rollers allow good current supply and an accurate central guiding of the electrode without the advance of the electrode being impaired.
