<p>Radiation sterilizable polymeric materials, particularly radiation sterilizable absorbable, surgical products made from such polymeric materials. The polymeric materials comprise units of the formula: where G is the residue minus the hydroxyl groups of a dihydric alcohol,wherein Ph represents 1,2-, 1,3-, or 1,4phenylene, and wherein each R represents hydrogen or lower alkyl. The process of preparing these materials is also disclosed.</p> |
