PURPOSE:To form a seal-ring simply and rapidly by molding a crude rubber material in vulcanization in such a manner that a ring-shaped crude rubber material is held on the peripheral portions of piercing holes in a thin plate-like holding plate having piercing holes and the crude rubber material is inserted between the upper and lower dies of a molding die device together with the holding plate. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of piercing holes 7 are provided piercingly in the holding plate 1 and the crude rubber 2 is engaged in the peripheral portions 8 of the piercing holes 7 in the outer portion of the die device 3 so that the crude rubber material 2 is held on the holding plate 1. After the holding plate 1 held with the crude rubber material 2 is mounted on the lower die 5, the upper and lower dies 4, 5 are closed each other so as to put the holding plate 1 between the upper and lower die 4, 5, and also, after the crude rubber material 2 is molded in vulcanization by heating the upper and lower dies 4, 5 so as to mold the seal-ring portion 6, the upper and lower dies 4, 5 are spaced away each other so as to take the holding plate 1 out of the die device 3. Accordingly, the seal-ring portion 6 can be taken out of the die device 3 while it is left holding in the holding plate 1, and inner and outer scrap portions 27, 28 are separated in another place, so that a seal-ring can be formed as a product. |
