PURPOSE:To obtain a polyolefin coated steel material having superior resistance against hot water, by sequentially laminating a chromate processing agent layer, a primer layer, a modified polyolefin resin layer and a polyolefin resin layer onto the surface of a steel material. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a steel material 1, there are sequentially laminated a chromate processing agent layer 2, a primer layer 3 having essential components (A), (B) and (C), a modified polyolefin resin layer 4 and a polyolefin resin layer 5, whereby a polyolefin-coated steel material having superior resistance against hot water is obtained. The component (A) is an epoxy resin composed of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and a single body or a mixture of bisphenol AD diglycidyl ether. The component (B) is a modified fatty polyamine in which alkylglycidyl ether is reacted and added by the ratio of 0.2-0.6mol. based on one mol. of a condensate of m-xylenediamine and epichlorohydrin. The component (C) is an inorganic cooling agent. A favorable result is obtained if the adhering amount of the chromat processing agent layer 2 is 100-900mg/m<2> in terms of the total weight of chrome, the thickness of the primer layer 3, the resin layer 4 and the resin layer 5 is respectively 5-350mum, 0.05-0.5mm and 1-10mm. |
