<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a thermal insulation body having extremely high thermal insulation efficiency as well as excellent thermal resistance and pressure resistance by arranging a thermal insulation space sealed and maintained in a bag formed by metal sheets. CONSTITUTION: A thermal insulation body 1 has a thermal insulation space 3 sealed and maintained in a bag 2 formed by metal sheets. Flexible steel sheet, stainless steel sheet and the like may be used as the metal sheet for forming the bag 2 of the thermal insulation body 1. The thermal insulation space 3 sealed and maintained in the bag 2 is formed by a gas layer of air, inert gas or the like. The bag 2 is formed with metal sheets by means of joining the peripheral open ends of a pair of overlapped metal sheets.</p> |
