PURPOSE:To stabilize combustion and enlarge the range in the amount of com bustion being made variable by providing an orifice between a burner and a foam collecting cylinder which feeds fuel. CONSTITUTION:A burner consists of a combustion device 1, foam collecting cylinder 2, orifice 3, and foam generator 4. A fuel supply pipe 6 which feeds liquid fuel is connected to the foam generator 4. On the other hand, a porous element 5 is disposed in the inside of the foam generator 4 and to the foam generator 4 an air supply pipe 7 which is used for supplying gas such as air from the outside is connected. A combustion device 1 has an orifice 3 on its lower side. The combustion device 1 is a cylindrical body with its side section formed cylindrically or squarely and many secondary air holes 9 are provided thereto. Accordingly, the fuel that is changed in foams comes to the orifice 3 from a foam collecting cylinder 2 and the fuel foams is supplied to the combustion device 1 through the holes 10, and it is burned easily by the air contained in the foams and supplied from secondary air holes 9 to form flames above the burner. |
