ILLEGAL USE PREVENTING SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent an illegal transaction by a counterfeit card by providing a transaction transition code, and collating and rewriting the code in every transaction. CONSTITUTION:The collating mechanism 24 of a transaction processor 2 collates a password sent from a decentralized transaction device 1 and the transaction transition code of a transaction medium with a password and a transaction transition code read out of an external storage file 22 to check their coincidence. When it is confirmed that a transaction operator is proper, the transaction operator is guided to input transaction contents. The transaction contents data is transmitted from a device 1 to the device 2. The main service processing mechanism 21 of the device 2 controls a code generating mechanism 25 after the processing to obtain a new transaction transition code for collation during a next transaction and transmits it to the device 1 together with a transaction processing result. The subcontrol mechanism of the device receiving them controls a writing mechanism 13 to write the transaction transition code for the next transaction on the transaction medium.
