<p>LAMINATED PLASTIC/NON-WOVEN FILM AND ITS METHOD OF MANUFACTURE Disclosed is a composite laminated film suitable for use in constructing trash and other bags, which film comprises: a first layer of non woven fiber material having a quantity of fiber material of 0.125 to 1.5 oz. per square yard, the non-woven fiber being selected from polypropylene tow, polyethylene/polypropylene mixed tow material and slit polyethylene film: and a second layer of a plastic film secured to a first surface of the first layer of non-woven material, the second layer of plastic film having a thickness of 0.2 to 1.5 mils, the plastic film being selected from a linear low density polyethylene, a low density polyethylene, a high density polyethylene, a high molecular weight high density polyethylene,and a polymer blend containing one or more of these materials. A method of continuous manufacturing of the laminate film is also disclosed.</p> |
