PURPOSE: To firmly retain constructed parts of a cable or the like by comprising a clip in a manner that the detaining end of a thick covering wall and the detaining end of a thin covering wall are engaged to each other in a condition after the constructed parts are pushed into a retaining chamber. CONSTITUTION: When a cable contacts to a retaining clip, a covering wall 8 is resiliently bent in downward and a horizontal directions according to movement of the cable to function as a guide wall for guiding the cable to the retaining chamber. Simultaneously, when a detaining end 9 is slid on the wall surface of a covering wall 6, the detaining end 9 pushes and widens side walls 2, 3 to the outside, and the side walls 2, 3 resiliently snap back to an original position again. The covering wall 8 is jumped upward by resilient returning force, the detaining end 9 is engaged to the detaining end 11 of the covering wall 6, and an opening 7 is firmly closed. When the cable is drawn out to the outside, an engagement of the detaining ends 9, 11 are released by hands to cancel detaining. Thereby the cable can be firmly fixed to the retaining chamber. |
