PURPOSE:To confirm causes of jam easily by providing a sensor for detecting copy sheet in a carry path, and a means for measuring passing timing of the copy sheet through the sensor to a copy machine thereby enabling output of measured data to an external device. CONSTITUTION:Copy sheet carrying timing is measured by interrupting a pulse signal fed from an encoder 16 through a frequency divider 12 to CPU10. In the interruption routine, CPU10 checks ON/OFF of sensors 18-27 based on detection signals fed from copy machine detection sensors 18-27 through an input port 11, and writes count in a sequence control counter into data writing area of a memory. Consequently, timing with which front and rear ends of copy sheet pass through detecting positions of the sensors 18-27 is measured and data thereof are written into the data writing area of memory. The data are outputted to an external data processor. Operator checks the copy sheet carrying timing. |
