PURPOSE:To provide a transfer recording medium capable of producing a printed matter of high quality suitable for observation by a projection or transmission system even on a base which has a poor ink-absorbing property, wherein an ink- receiving layer is releasably laminated on a base. CONSTITUTION:The base 2 for the transfer recording medium 1 may or may not have an ink-absorbing property, but is preferably formed of a paper, a cloth, a resin treated to be porous or wood so that an ink is fixed more speedily. A coated layer 3 functioning as an ink-receiving layer is basically constituted of a film-forming resin coating material. It is necessary that the coated layer 3 be easily released (at a peeling strength of preferably 5g/mm.) from the base 2 in the process of producing a printed matter. An arbitrary image 4 is formed on the medium 1, and then a transfer medium 5 is laminated on the surface of the coated layer 3. An adhesive layer 6 provided on one side of the medium 5 is faced to the coated layer 3. A main body 7 of the medium 5 is formed of a translucent or transparent glass or resin. |
