METHOD FOR COMBINING PREPREG

PURPOSE:To simplify a prepreg combining process, to enhance the efficiency of said process, to reduce the storage space of a prepreg and to prevent the deterioration of said prepreg by superposing the required number of main prepregs continuously transferred from a dryer on one or more sub-prepreg and further placing one or more sub-prepreg thereon. CONSTITUTION:One prepreg is sent to a combination stage 3 from a maker name applied prepreg storage place 1 by a belt conveyor 2 and, subsequently, six main prepregs each continuously transferred from a dryer 4 while cut into a required dimension by a cutter 5 are counted at a number-of-prepreg calculation stage 6 to be stacked on a switch-back belt 7 and one prepreg enhanced in adhesiveness is further placed thereon from a prepreg storage stage 8 by a slide system 9 and one set of a prepreg laminate 10 is obtained through a number-of-prepreg inspection process. A metal foil such as a copper foil is arranged to the upper or under surface of the prepreg laminate if necessary and the whole is molded under heating and pressure by a multistage press to obtain a laminated sheet.
