PURPOSE:To dispense with the bonding of a seal tape at the time of skin-integrated- foam molding and to easily cut off the unnecessary part of a skin by bonding a thermoplastic foamable plastic powder to the predetermined part of the surface of an adhered thermoplastic powder layer at a gelled stage to foam the same. CONSTITUTION:When a thermoplastic foamable plastic powder 30 is bonded to the surface of the predetermined part 32 of an adhered thermoplastic powder 28 at a gelled stage by a spraying means, said powder 30 is foamed by the holding heat of the surface of a mold to form a non-impregnating foamed plastic seal member 36. The powder 28 adhered to the surface of the mold is formed into a film by the advance of gelling and this film is released from the surface of the mold to obtain a skin 34 for skin integrated foam molding. Next, this skin 34 is held between upper and lower molds 38a, 38b and a core material 40 is mounted on the inner surface of the mold 38a to clamp both molds. When a foamable raw material 42 is injected between the skin 34 and the core material 40, the foamable raw material 42 is prevented from the leakage to the outside of the skin by the seal member 36 to obtain a skin- integrated-foamed molded product. When the outer peripheral edge of the skin is cut off a final product is obtained. |
