<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject steel by which simple correctness of torsion and high accuracy in the bonding part can be obtd. by assembling a structure in which compression residual stress having the specific value or above remains in the central part of a flange and the torsion stiffness around its Z axis is substantially regulated to zero. CONSTITUTION:In the above-mentioned H-shape steel, >=10kg/mm<2> compression residual stress remains in the central part of the flange and the torsion stiffness around the central axis which passes the center of its sectional surface, namely, the Z axis is regulated to zero. In this way, at the time of assembling a struc ture by using said H-shape steel, warps, torsion, etc., can easily be corrected even if they are present in the H-shape steel, the bonding part having high accuracy can easily be obtd. and the working of the bonding at the time of assembling can be facilitated. A web and a flange are heated and cooled and the temp. difference is given therebetween at the cooling stage of a rolling machine to furthermore obtain the H-shape steel having the torsion stiffness substantially closer to zero.</p> |
