<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a tall tapered container suitable for fitting and stacking by drawing a handstand cup, forming a transition part which mutually connects a first and second side wall parts, taking material out of the transition part and providing a tapered shape in the side walls. CONSTITUTION: A sheet is used as its stock and formed into the handstand cup IC having a central panel B and the side walls SW. The handstand cup IC is turned over and deepened, a shoulder S is formed and the final length is almost obtained. The cup C is further redrawn, the shoulder S is maintained, the side walls SW are further slenderized and maintained in a straight state. An annular outward projection R is set, side walls SW are slenderized into a desired final length and tapered off. A flat bottom B is profile worked to form a profile bottom PB, and a flange part area being a part of the shoulder S is edged. Thus, the tapered container capable of being fitted or stacked is formed.</p> |
