PURPOSE:To provide the title piezoelectric ceramic compsn. having high electromechanical coupling factor, high piezoelectric distortion constant, and high Curie temp. altogether, and having superior sinterability by constituting the compsn. primarily of a compound perovskite compd. having a specified compsn. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ceramic compsn. for actuator is constituted primarily of a compound perovskite compd. expressed by the formula, wherein 0.03<=x<=0.07, 0.5<=y<=0.65, 0<z<0.2, 0<alpha<1. The piezoelectric ceramic compsn. is produced from raw materials such as PbO, TiO2, ZrO2, La2O3, MgO, ZnO, Nb2O5, etc., weighted corresponding to the compsn. expressed by the formula, mixing the raw materials in the wet state with a ball mill, etc., drying the mixture and precalcining, crushing the precalcined product again, and molding the crushed product and then calcining finally. The obtd. piezoelectric ceramic compsn. is used suitably for precise control of flow rate of pulp, etc. |
