<p>The electrical heating apparatus for a corrosive fluid comprises a bar-type heating body (2) having its ends (3, 4) non-rotatably held in sealed relationship in passages (7, 8) in a connecting head (5) made from a fluoroplastic-based material. The heating body (2) has inner conductors (10) electrically connected to a connecting feed line (6) which is insulated so as to be resistant to the surrounding fluid and which is fitted non-rotatably in a further passage (9) in the connecting head (5) in sealed relationship. The heating body (2) can extend in a generally meander-like configuration (25-30). The whole of the heating body and the connecting head can be immersed in corrosive liquid.</p> |
