PURPOSE:To compose and record the positions of recording areas on a sheet even if they are varied by moving the recording position of each recording area based on result calculated by a moving amount calculating means. CONSTITUTION:The recorder is provided with an area specifying means 1 specifying two recorded areas such as a basic area and a subordinate area on an original, a basic position specifying means 2 specifying the recording position of the basic area, the moving amount calculating means 3 calculating the recording position of each recorded area based on data specified by the area specifying means 1 and the basic position specifying means 2, and an area moving and controlling means 4 moving the recording position of each recorded area based on the result calculated by the moving amount calculating means 3. By providing the area specifying means, the positions of areas can be correctly specified even if they are in different formats. In addition, more than two areas can be correctly composed since the basic position specifying means and the moving amount calculating means can set the recording position of the entire area. |
