PURPOSE:To surely perform the fault diagnostic of the output mechanism of a dual port memory(DPM) by setting an interruption signal to another microprocessor as input to a microprocessor, and judging the fault of the output port of the dual port memory based on an input signal. CONSTITUTION:When an interruption request signal is inputted from one microprocessor 13 to the port on one side of the dual port memory 11, the dual port memory 11 outputs the interruption signal from the port on the other side to another microprocessor 15. Furthermore, a diagnostic circuit 60 sets the interruption signal to another microprocessor 15 as the input to one microprocessor 13, and discriminates the fault of the output port of the dual port memory 11 based on the input signal. In such a way, the interruptive function of the dual port memory 11 can surely be checked. |
