PURPOSE:To obtain flaked or granular solid MgCl2 having uniform particle size, by cooling MgCl2 in a molten state while stirring. CONSTITUTION:The flaked or granular solid MgCl2 is obtd. by placing anhydrous MgCl2 in a molten state in a vessel 1 with a water-cooling jacket 3 and by cooling in an inert gas atmosphere on the condition of 10-10,000Kcal/ kg.hr while stirring with a stirrer 2. |
