PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency and reduce back pressure and cost based on miniaturization and weight reduction by curving a radiator fitted facing frontward, in a recessed shape in a lateral direction and frontward at its lower end in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: Travel air of a motorcycle enters a front face aperture hole 9 of a cowling 8 and blows against a radiator 1. Since the radiator is laterally curved (6) so that the center is recessed to the rear side, there is slight resistance to the air passing between fins 5, but center air pressure rises to prevent the air from escaping laterally to the outside. The radiator 1 is fitted in the state of its lower side inclining to the rear side, and the lower part is curved (7) lengthwise so that the lower end is placed on the front side. The lengthwise curved part therefore serves as a weir so as to prevent the air from escaping to the lower side. Almost the whole quantity of the air blowing agains the radiator 1 can be thus passed between the fins 5 and used for cooling to improve cooling efficiency. The radiator 1 can therefore be miniaturized. |
