PURPOSE: To prevent the radiation of parasitic electromagnetic energy and to reduce an element preparation cost by turning the length of the respective line parts of respective branches parallelly connected to a first resistor to a specified length and selecting the circuit constant of the wave motion impedance of the respective line parts to a specified numerical value. CONSTITUTION: The respective line parts L1 , L2 ,..., LN are provided with the valid electric length ofλ/2 for instance to a prescribed wavelengthλ. In this case, the line parts L1 , L2 ,..., LN are selected so as to perform the action of 180 deg. phase rotation as the whole to all the wavelength present within a prescribed frequency band. A first resistor R0 , resistor R1 , R2 ,..., RN and the line parts L1 , L2 ,..., LN are designed and selected so as to make a resistor circuit network form impedance suited to the output impedance of a line L. Thus, by the corresponding number of parallel branches and the appropriate selection and design of the resistor R0 , R1 , R2 ..., RN and the line parts L1 , L2 ,..., LN this terminal impedance element with less reflection in a substantially wide band is realized.
