<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high bonding strength by allowing a ceramic to abut on a material to be bonded, providing a brazer along the bonding line and irradiating the parts to be bonded by a laser beam under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:The ceramic 2 is allowed to abut on a ceramic, a cermet, or a metal 2 so that the gap 11 between the surfaces 2a and 3a to be bonded is minimized. A brazer 4 is provided along the bonding line on the surface, and a laser beam is projected in the following manner. Namely, a laser beam 8a is projected on the bonding part 7 on at least the front of the materials to be bonded between the front and rear of the materials, and the intensity or distribution of the beam 8a is gradually increased or decreased at the start of irradiation and during irradiation. As a result, the bonding part is preheated, the brazer 4 is heated and melted, the brazer 4 is infiltrated into the gap 11, a part of the bonded material is released from the end faces 2a and 3a of the materials, the released bonded blocks 12 are included in the brazer 4 in the gap, and the brazer 4 is filled in the gap and then solidified 17.</p> |
