PURPOSE:To appropriately use a recorder within its capacity even if a user does not have detail knowledge about the recorder by providing a classification discriminating means discriminating the type of a sheet used for recording as a direct condition from indirect conditions selected by a selecting means. CONSTITUTION:The recorder is provided with a 1st selecting means 11 specifying indirect conditions for recording, a sheet housing means 12 housing recording sheets such as copying sheets by classification, by type discriminating means 13 discriminating the type of a sheet used for recording as a direct condition from indirect conditions selected by the selecting means 11 and a 2nd selecting means 14 selecting a sheet housing means 12 housing the sheet of discriminated size. Namely, the 1st selecting means 11 specifying indirect conditions is prepared, and the type of sheet is discriminated based on the selected indirect conditions, thereby selecting the sheet housing means. Therefore, a novice can achieve recording suitable for the recorder. |
