<p>PURPOSE:To optionally change the steering mode of rear wheels by the operation of an operating lever by connecting a rotary member which in accordance with the steering of front wheels, of a front wheel steering mechanism including a piston driven by pressure oil to a rear wheel steering mechanism via a transmission. CONSTITUTION:A front wheel steering mechanism IP houses a rotary valve which is controlled by the rotation of a steering handle 11 via a torsion bar, and drives a piston by means of a working fluid through the rotary valve to rotate a pitman arm 39 thereby giving an auxiliary force to the steering of front wheels. Also, at this time, a universal joint 25 is rotated in accordance with the steered angle of the front wheels, and this rotation is transmitted to a rear wheel steering mechanism RP via rods 26, 41. In this case, a transmission 42 is provided midway in the rod 41. This transmission 42 can be switched over to a two-wheel steering mode, a same phase mode, or a reverse phase mode in accordance with the moving direction of the operating lever 54.</p> |
