PURPOSE:To effectively prepare a curve without any break by deciding the connectivity of a discrete coordinate point already calculated and setting the connectivity to a parameter value appropriately. CONSTITUTION:The range of the parameter value is given to a connectivity deciding means 204, and a parametric function is given to a point position coordinate calculating means 202 on the curve. A parameter value determining means 201 determines the parameter value by a logic previously determined from the range of a parameter given from the connectivity deciding means 204, and the point position coordinate calculating means 202 on the curve obtains a point on the curve described by the parametric function using this parameter value. A position coordinate discretizing means 203 maps the position coordinates obtained by the position coordinate calculating means 202 to prescribed discrete coordinates and calculates the position of the discrete coordinate point. The connectivity deciding means 204 decides the connectivity from two discrete points and makes a storing means 205 store the discrete coordinate points without any break.
