PURPOSE: To make formation of an electric infrared-ray lamp easier and heating more uniform by bending the lamp with two ends, extending from one end to another in a circle, into a specific shape and combining them by a straight line segment. CONSTITUTION: As an electric infrared-ray lamp 10 is provided in a housing 1, an end 12 extends to the outside through at least one opening 4 in a wall 3. A lamp case 11 is bent into a regular polygon with n angles with substantially equal angles (180-αdeg.), where n is greater than 6, between the ends 12, having bends 14 which are connected by straight-line segments 15. Since the bent angle is substantially equal, the angles can be manufactured by using the same bending machine, making the formation easier and heating more uniform.
