<p>PURPOSE: To improve the effect of clear position showing as the original role of a marker by determining the thickness of line segments consisting of the marker to be plotted based of size information showing the size of the marker. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a marker conversion processing means 3 for determining how many line segments consisting of a basic marker correspond to the thickness of line segments consisting of the marker to be plotted based on the size information showing the size of the marker and for preparing a line segment plotting instruction group required for plotting the marker at each position when the marker having the thickness of line segments equal with the thickness of the basic marker and the length of line segments designated by the size information is parallelly moved in prescribed direction every time just for the thickness of line segments consisting of the basic marker until the thickness of line segments becomes the determined thickness. Therefore, the thickness of line segments consisting of the marker can be changed in proportion to the size of the marker to be displayed on a graphic display device 4 so that the clear position showing effect of the marker is improved.</p> |
