摘要 PURPOSE: To selectively measure the content of a substance dissolved into a solvent by using a permeable cell by adjusting an operating pressure by using a reference solution that is connected through a permeable membrane for an initial osmotic pressure measurement solution. CONSTITUTION: When a valve V1 opens, an osmotic pressure measurement solution is poured from a storage bath 9 to a permeable cell. Then, to adjust an operating pressure, a proper reference solution 10 is introduced through a storage bath 6a when a valve V2 is opened. Therefore, the liquid passes through a film 2 of the solution and reaches the osmic pressure measurement solution that is located at the permeable cell. Then, after the operating pressure is adjusted and detected, finally the valve 4 is opened and a solution to be examined is introduced into the storage bath 6a from a conduit 12. Therefore, a pressure change occurs in the permeable cell and the change becomes an aim for the content of substance in the solution. On the other hand, for performing calibration, when a valve V3 is closed and the valves V1, V2, and V4 are closed, a calibration solution is introduced from a storage bath 11 via the storage bath 6a.
