PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition of high traction coefficient, with little evaporation loss at elevated temperatures, also excellent in viscosity characteristics, by blending an alkyl aromatic compound and a polycyclohexylalkane in specified proportions. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) 20-80wt.% of at least one kind of alkyl aromatic compound with a dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 2-40cst, selected from alkylbenzenes, alkylnaphthalenes and diphenylalkanes and (B) 80-20wt.% of a polycyclohexylalkane of the formula (n is 0 or 1; R1 and R2 are such when R1 is H, R2 is CH3, while when R1 is CH3, R2 is H). |
