The invention relates to a device making it possible to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation without the risk of contamination for the rescuer and/or the victim. It consists of an adapter 2, having an orifice through which the rescuer blows his own breath. When it passes into the conical part 1, the saliva contained in the blown air is retained by the absorbent material of the walls 3. The end of this part 1-2 (rescuer side) of the device terminates in a thread 4 which is fitted to the second part 6 comprising a mouth tube 7 into which the air is blown and a flexible nasal mask 10 for closing the nostrils. The mouth tube 7 is provided with a rectangular lip 8 which is pressed on the mouth and the chin, whilst the mouth tube 7, which is slightly curved, holds the tongue; this makes it possible to keep the mouth of the victim open during the entire operation. The mouth tube 7 is provided with orifices 9 which facilitate the diffusion of the air in the mouth of the victim. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for first aid. <IMAGE> |
