PURPOSE:To reduce the irregularity of printing quality between upper and lower cases by forming smaller diameter of wire on the lower-case printing head than the diameter of wire on the upper-case printing head and thereby eliminating a difference of mass generated by the difference between the length of the upper-case wire and that of the lower-case wire. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed cylindrical yoke 17 consisting of a core 16 formed at the bottom on the circumference is provided on a lower-case printing head 14, and a coil 18 is wound around the core 16. These components constitute an electromagnetic device 19, on which an armature 20 is provided. Wire 21 is attached to the tip of the armature 20. In the meantime, the armature 20 is provided on an upper-case printing head 15, to the tip of which, wire 21 is fitted. The diameter (A) of wire 21 on the lower-case printing head 14 is formed to be smaller than that (B) of wire on the upper-case printing head 15. Consequently, the deformation and damage of printing paper caused by overprinting can be eliminated. |
