PURPOSE:To form a uniform coating film on the vapor deposition surface of optical parts by circularly moving the optical parts while a coating liquid is held stuck thereto and rotating the optical parts themselves. CONSTITUTION:A revolving shaft 11 is rotated when a motor 12 is driven while the coating liquid such as ethyl silicate is held stuck to plastic lenses 16. A rotary plate 10 is then rotated and the radial force of the rotary plate 10 acts on the coating liquid stuck to the lenses 16. Rollers 18 are rotated along the outside circumference of a stationary disk 17 as the rotary plate 10 rotates. The revolving shaft 14 and further the lenses 16 themselves supported by lens holders 13 are thereby rotated. The force is thus acted on the coating liquid stuck to the lenses 16 in all directions and the coating film having a uniform thickness is formed on the vapor deposition surfaces of the plastic lenses 16. |
