PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of a recording medium which should be secured until the recording medium is supplemented or exchanged by compressing the contents of transaction processing to be outputted to a recording means when the remaining quantity of the recording medium to record the contents of the transaction processing comes a little. CONSTITUTION:A slip issuing machine such as an ATM is provided with a journal printing part 8. In a state that a journal sheet 1 remains sufficiently around a fitting spindle 2 and a sensor 20 is turned OFF, data stored in memory areas MA2-MA11 is outputted to the driving part of a printing head 7 by an ordinary format. On the other hand, when the sheet 1 comes less below the state shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line in a figure at the fitting spindle 2, and the sensor 20 is turned ON, the data stored in the areas MA2-MA11 is outputted to the driving part of the printing head 7 by the compressed format. Thus, the quantity of the form 1 which should be secured until the form 1 is supplemented can be reduced. |
