PURPOSE:To decrease the system breakdown cases and to improve the working efficiency of a fault processor by separating the faulty processor and its corresponding memory from a system in case a fault occurs in an access address to be given to a memory device and then setting the memory device into the system after erasion of the contents of the memory device. CONSTITUTION:When a fault occurs in an access address to be given to a memory device 1-1 from a processor 2-1, the occurrence of this fault is informed to a fault processor 3 via an address fault informing circuit 24-1. Thus the processor 3 separates the processor 2-1 from an information processing system and at the same time detects the device 101 via a detecting circuit 33. Then the device 1-1 is also separated from the system. The processor 3 clears the contents of the device 1-1 via a memory clearing circuit 34 and sets the device 1-1 into the system again. |
