PURPOSE:To obtain a correction circuit having an excellent vertical deflection linearity characteristic by inserting a parallel connection comprising anti-parallel connection diodes and a dumping resistor in an AC feedback loop. CONSTITUTION:A parallel connection comprising anti-parallel connection diodes 13, 14 and a dumping resistor 15 is inserted in the AC feedback loop. Then the correction characteristic such that the correction is large at the center of vertical deflection, the correction is small at the upper/lower circumference and the correction is varied smoothly in the middle part is obtained by the nonlinear characteristic of the forward voltage versus current of the diodes 13, 14. Thus, the correction characteristic of the vertical deflection linearity is obtained without increasing the current capacity of the coupling capacitor and without decreasing the capacitance of the feedback capacitor. |
