New pigments, suitable for colouration of plastics, lacquers and inks

A salt of formula Fn.A (I) where F= residue of a metal free anionic dyestuff having 1-4 acid gps.; n= 1-2; and A= gp. contg. 1-4 sterically hindered amine gps. and at least n ammonium or immonium gps.. Pref. (a) F is derived from the azo, phthalocyanine anthraquinone, penylene, indigo, thioindigo, perinone, quinacridone, dioxazine, isoindoline, isoindolinone, diketopyrrole or pyrrole series. (b) A is selected from gps. (II) to (VI), where R1= H or 1-4C alkyl, pref. H or methyl, more pref. H; R2 gps. independently = 1-6C alkyl, pref. methyl; R3 gps. independently = H, methyl or ethyl, or one R3= phenyl, or both gps. R3 together form a gp. of (CH2). Y= gp. of formula (VII) or (VIII).
