PURPOSE:To prevent a primer film from being damaged, and thereby contrive an improvement in reliability by forming a film for a wire rod in such a way that brominated epoxy resin is blended with urethane resin. CONSTITUTION:The film 5 of a coated wire rod 3 is formed in such a way that brominated epoxy resin is blended with urethane resin. When the coated wire rod 3 is vibrated ultrasonically against a junction body 2, heat is developed between welding chips and the coated wire rod 3 and between the wire rod and the junction body 2 by friction due to ultrasonic vibration, and hydrogen bromide is thereby formed by the heat developed by reaction between bromide in brominated epoxy resin of the film 5 and hydroxyl group-OH in brominated epoxy resin so as to accelerate decomposition of urethane resin so that the contacting section between the welding chips of the film 5 and the junction body 2 is thereby removed. After then, when ultrasonic vibration is caused by the welding chips, the exposed core of the coated wire rod 3 is joined to the junction body 2. Herein, ultrasonic energy for the removal of the film 5 is required less, thereby letting the primer film of the junction body 2 can be protected from damage that much. |
