The invention relates to an arrangement by which errors which do not enter the analog/digital conversion particularly rapidly due to fluctuations of the environmental temperature or in another manner are eliminated in analog/digital converters with a program-controlled digital/analog converter and with an analog multiplexer serving a number of input channels. For this purpose, a reference voltage value is subjected to the same analog/digital conversion via a reference channel immediately before or after the analog voltage value to be converted, and the resultant reference number is stored at least for a short time in a memory so that it can be used by a processor for forming the difference with the analog voltage value of normally unknown magnitude after its conversion into a number. All errors which do not suddenly enter the analog/digital converter are essentially removed from this difference so that it can be taken away for further evaluation.
