摘要 For the purpose of cooling shelters for electronic equipment, passive cooling systems are advantageous, whose operation does not require mechanical components driven by imported energy. The known passive cooling systems operate according to the thermosyphon (thermosiphon) principle, using a water reservoir, and require uneconomical reservoir sizes. According to the invention, a passive sorption cooling system is provided in which the lost heat produced in a room 2, in the event of high ambient temperatures, is stored temporarily (buffered) in a heat reservoir (heat accumulator) 6. Storage is effected by sorption, by means of a sorbent 22, of a refrigerant 20 evaporating in an evaporator 4. In the event of low ambient temperatures, the lost heat is used to drive out the refrigerant 20. The refrigerant 20 driven out is liquefied in a condenser 8 arranged outside the room 2 and, under the influence of gravity, flows back to the evaporator 4.
