<p>PURPOSE:To easily discriminate a broadcast system for recording at the time of reproducing by comparing the period of a reproduced control signal with the threshold of the period of a control signal corresponding to the reproducing speed. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a frequency detector 9, an external memory 13, a threshold selecting means (microprocessor 12) which selects the threshold of the period of the control signal corresponding to the reproducing speed from the memory 13, a broadcast system discriminating means (microprocessor 12) which compares the period of the reproduced control signal detected by the frequency detector 9 with the threshold of the period of the control signal selected by the threshold selecting means 12 to discriminate the broadcast system and the tape running speed for recording, and a tape running speed control means (microprocessor 12) which runs a tape in accordance with discriminated broadcast system and tape running speed. Thus, the broadcast system for recording is discriminated at the time of reproducing.</p> |
