<p>PURPOSE:To attach and detach a storage rack without damaging a magnetic tape by fitting the projection of a grip member to a recessed part to grip the storage rack at the time of moving a push rod toward the storage rack and pushing the projection out of the recessed part to release the grip at the time of moving the push rod furthermore. CONSTITUTION:A storage rack 1 stored in a moving truck 6 is gripped by a grip member 12 and is elastically supported by a roller 23, and a driving motor 14 is driven when the moving truck 6 is moved and the storage rack is positioned on a prescribed position of a setting part 3 of a cartridge magnetic tape device. A push rod 9 is moved toward the setting part, and the grip member 12 is moved while holding the storage rack 1, and the storage rack 1 is pressed against the setting part 3; and when the pressing force on the setting part 3 exceeds a set value, a tension coiled spring 21 is pulled and the grip member 12 is opened to release the grip. Thus, the storage rack 1 is attached to and detached from the cartridge magnetic tape device 3 without damaging the magnetic tape.</p> |
