For transferring the clamping force in the case of an injection mould on a longitudinally divided platen, the cassette plate extends beyond the inner part of the platen, as a result of which it is possible to dispense with the arrangement of special thrust pieces. The pressing is distributed over the continuous surface area of the cassette plate. Doing away with the otherwise required thrust pieces makes production and assembly easier. The cassette plate has a round cross-section. In the projecting part there may be arranged a plurality of reliefs for the mounting of the melt flow-way system.
