PURPOSE: To remarkably improve the carrying performance and operation reliability from a start of web cutting to a carrying belt by providing a guide for a partial cut part arranged between the barrels of the second stage cutting barrels and extended in front and rear of the barrels. CONSTITUTION: A web (a) vertically folded by a folding machine 1 of a rotary press 1 or formed with a vertical slit like a ribbon is partially cut in the web cross direction by a saw blade 13c of a first stage cutting barrels 13a, 13b, and non-cut parts of this web in the cross direction are cut by a saw blade 23c of second stage cutting barrels 23a, 23b, and thereafter, they are fed to a carrying belt. At this stage, partial cut of this web is guided to a carrying belt 14 by a guide 30 arranged between barrels of the second cutting barrels 23a, 23b and extended in front and rear of the barrels. As a result, generation of jam and bent of the web (a) to be cut or cut by these cutting barrels (13a, 13b), (23a, 23b) is eliminated, and the web is smoothly fed to the carrying belt 14. |
