PURPOSE:To effectively remove scale on the surface of a precision cast product in a short time without roughening the surface by pickling the product with sulfuric acid having a specified concn. at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:A precision cast product is pickled with sulfuric acid having 10-20% concn. at 60-80 deg.C. Slight sand blasting may be carried out in combination with the pickling as required. Scale on the surface of the product is efficiently removed without deforming the product or roughening the surface. |
