PURPOSE:To facilitate a printing format setting, by a method wherein, a preset printing item once displayed on a predetermined position of an image plane is moved to be positioned on a desired position. CONSTITUTION:By operating a ten key 1a and a * key 1c, a label size (a) and a label frame (b) are displayed on an image plane of a CRT display 2. Succeedingly, by operating a trade name key 1h, a trade name (c) is displayed on the image plane. By operating a tare/tare-set key 1e, an address (d) is shown on the image plane. By operating an item number key 1d, the item number (e) is shown on the leftward upper part of the image plane. In this manner, an available date (f), a processed date (g), and a price (h) are respectively displayed with an available date key 1i, a date key 1j, and a fixed amount key 1f. These items are shifted by using a '2' key and a '6' key. Lastly, a bar code (i) is displayed by operating a tare-set 1 key 1k, and this is shifted to be positioned. Then, a printing format is set on the image plane of the CRT display 2. Further, by operating the * key 1c, this printing format is registered in a RAM 13. |
