Middle condenser for rovings fed to the drawframe of a spinning machine Known middle condensers are designed either for stationary operation and for feeding two rovings fed to the draw frame in parallel or for traversing operation during the feed of only one roving. In order to change over from the processing of two rovings to the processing of one roving, and vice versa, it is necessary to dismount the middle condensor, thus leading to relatively long standstill times of the spinning machine for the conversion. The invention is intended to remedy this. In the novel middle condenser, there is provided in the middle between the two roving-guide channels for the feed of parallel rovings a third roving-guide channel which is used when the middle condenser moved in a traversing manner is used for the feed of only one roving to be processed. The standstill times for the conversion of the spinning machine from one operating mode to the other are thereby markedly reduced, because only the rovings to be processed have to be threaded in, whereas there is no need to exchange the middle condensers.
