PURPOSE:To improve the distrubution property of high frequency waves supplied into a heating chamber so as to heat a material without irregularities and to make it easy to put the material into, and out from, the heating chamber by a method wherein a rotatable material placing table is provided, the upper wall of the heating chamber is inclined from the rear part thereof toward an opening in the high frequency heating device and is bent upward at a desired position between the center of the table and the opening. CONSTITUTION:The upper wall 12 of a heating chamber 2 is somewhat inclined upward to a position at which it faces opposite the table 7 on the side of the opening 3 and is bent upward at a desired position between the center and the end of the table 7. As the high frequency waves supplied from a magnetron 10 reflect at different angles, respectively, it is possible to make the distribution property of the high frequency waves substantially uniform and also as the table 7 rotates, it is possible to prevent the material 9 from being heated unevenly. Further, even in case the outer periphery of the table 7 projects, it is possible to place the material 9 on the table or to take it out from the table and to rotate the material placed on the table smoothly. |
